Internships and Volunteers
Thank you for you interest in Growing Up Boulder. Growing Up Boulder offers many ways to get involved in creating youth-friendly cities and environments. We seek bright-minded individuals who are passionate about youth empowerment and involvement of youth-voice in urban planning and community decisions. We encourage you to explore the website to gain a deeper knowledge of our work.
Internships
We seek interns with excellent organizational skills, design skills, writing skills, enthusiasm, open-mindedness, responsibility, and who enjoy working with young people. Bilingual English-Spanish writing and speaking is a plus but not required. GUB interns:

Application Requirements:
- We hire 2 interns for the fall and spring semesters and 1 intern for the summer term
- 12 hours per week (about 9 hours in office and 3 hours outside office)
- 3 class credits
- Internship logistics are coordinated through Nate Jones (ENVD/ENVS academic advisor) nathan.p.jones @ colorado.edu for class credit, plus professional development meetings
Eligibility:
- Be enrolled in the Program in Environmental Design, Environmental Studies, or the School of Education, at CU Boulder
- Incoming juniors or seniors
- Be in good academic standing, maintaining a minimum 3.0 GPA
